40-50 CME credits will be available at the Summit. Final credit count pending.

Students & Residents

Specific events for students and residents, including a student and resident track and a student and resident beer tasting, will be hosted at the Summit. Registration costs are deeply discounted for students and residents, at $25 a day. Students can apply for one of a limited number of scholarships that will cover all registration, travel and accommodation costs. Registration & Check-In

Registration for the 2018 Annual Summit is now open, and will remain open through the duration of the conference. You may register in advance, or on-site. Register before January 1, 2018 and receive $50 off your purchase of $375 or more with coupon code EARLYBIRD. Plus, all attendees who register before January 1, 2018 will be entered to win one free night at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort during the conference, a $149 value.

The registration and check-in booth will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. April 12, 13 and 14, and 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 15.

Basics of Chronic Pain Management: Essentials for the Non-Pain Management Specialist Class

The Thursday pre-conference class “Basics of Chronic Pain Management: Essentials For the Non-Pain Management Specialist” is a special pre-conference CME opportunity. If you are not attending the KSA, ACLS, BLS or PALS, but plan to arrive on Thursday, consider adding on this new course.

Nearly 50 million Americans suffer from chronic pain, and that number is likely to increase. Many patients seek help not from pain specialists, but from family medicine physicians or other healthcare professionals.  Do you feel you are prepared to manage these patients in your practice? Join this one-day seminar on pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic strategies that will help you treat this growing population of patients with safety and confidence.

Registration for this course is done on the same registration page as the full conference, however you are welcome to attend only this course even if you are not attending the rest of the Annual Summit.

ACLS, BLS, and PALS Classes

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) will again be taught at the Annual Summit. These classes are offered through the Health Education Network. If you are interested in taking one of these classes, you will need to register through the Health Education Network, separate from your general Annual Summit registration.

Extras

The Thursday evening welcome reception, Thursday evening dinner, all meals on Friday and Saturday, as well as breakfast Sunday, are included in the cost of registration. There will also be snack breaks throughout the day. Breakfast and lunch are provided in select pre-conference sessions on Thursday.

Free WI-FI will be available at the conference, and all session materials will be available online.

Dates & Times

The 2018 Annual Summit Exhibit Hall is open Friday, April 13. Exhibitors should arrive no earlier than 1:30 p.m. and no later than 2:00 p.m. (attendees will first visit the exhibit hall at 3:00 p.m.). You will pack up and exit the exhibit hall by 8:00 p.m.

Attendees have a dedicated Exhibit Hall breaks during the day, from 3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. To close out the day we will host a family friendly and themed Exhibit Hall Reception from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., complete with drinks and heavy appetizers.

Theme

This year’s family friendly theme is Through the Decades, in celebration of CAFP’s 70th anniversary. We encourage exhibitors to celebrate one of the decades that represent our 70 years: the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s or 00’s. Dress up, design booths accordingly, be creative and have fun! Registration

Registration for exhibitors is now open. You may register up until the opening of the conference, however, in order to be included in the agenda booklet and in promotional materials you MUST be registered no later that 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2018.

Payment

You may pay for your booth at the time of registration by credit card, or by check or credit card after registering. For exhibitors choosing to pay later, you will receive an official invoice after registering (this is separate from the confirmation email that you will receive). All final payments are due by Monday, May 14, 2018.
