Annual Summit Registration is Now Open

Join your fellow family physicians for the CAFP Annual Summit (previously the Annual Scientific Conference), a long weekend in Colorado Springs filled with education, networking and fun activities!

The Annual Summit kicks off on Thursday, April 14 with a number of pre-conference opportunities. DOT Medical Examiner training will be held, along with training for the Fit Family Challenge. You can also choose to attend a SAM course on depression, PALS Skill Verification, BLS Skills Verification, or an ACLS course. The day will end with a welcome reception and a presentation on the social determinates of health, a topic we know is impacting many of our members daily.

Friday and Saturday will feature a number of brand new topics as well as favorites we have brought back. Each day will include a half-day of infoPOEMS, rapid-fire sessions of need-to-know information related to the latest medical research. Friday features talks on topics like opioids and marijuana, and you will be able to visit with exhibitors in the exhibit hall. Saturday brings some exciting new topics including transgender medicine, hepatitis C, and physician health and wellbeing.

Sunday wraps up with talks on “The Magic of Family Medicine,” presented by Walt Larimore, MD, immunizations, and a legislative update.

The conference is family friendly and we encourage physicians to bring guests and enjoy the surrounding activities Colorado Springs has to offer. Many registration options are available, so whether you can make it for one session, one day, or the full conference, you’ll be able to get the CME you need.

Early bird discounts end December 31, so be sure to register now! For full information on the conference, including the full working agenda, visit wordpress-1017995-3661935.cloudwaysapps.com/summit.
