The Colorado AFP Summit is one of the best in the nation. Why? Because we offer more CME in one spot than almost any other chapter. That means our members get the most bang for their buck in one busy weekend. Join us May 2-5, 2019 at the Hilton Fort Collins.

Programming

This year the Summit will feature a number of new and interesting topics and presentations. Look for cluster sessions, dine-out groups, a keynote presentation and more. Plus, many of your highest-rated sessions return, including a KSA, infoPOEMS, and talks from CDPHE and COPIC.

We’ll also be hosting two major lunch presentations throughout the weekend. On Friday our biggest event of the Summit takes place as we celebrate our 2019 Award Winners, Fellows, and install CAFP’s 2019-2020 Board of Directors.

On Saturday our All-Member Business Lunch will give you all the logistical updates you need, including a report on the 2019 legislative session.

Social & Networking Events

We can’t host the Summit without recognizing the other big event of the weekend: the Kentucky Derby! Our exhibit hall will feature a derby brunch, and we’ll be hosting a watch party along-side poster presentations from CAFP student, resident and active members.

Students & Residents

We are hosting a dedicated student and resident track again this year. The track will include unique programming like loan repayment classes and procedural workshops.

Students and residents interested in attending the Summit can apply for one of a limited number of full scholarships that are available for the conference. These scholarships cover all of your expenses, including travel, hotel, food, and conference registration.

Even without a scholarship, conference registration for students and residents is deeply discounted. We encourage residents and students to grab your colleagues and classmates for a road trip to join in the fun.

Location

After many years in Colorado Springs we’re excited for the Summit to hit the road this year. Before we head for the mountains we are traveling north to Fort Collins. All Summit activities will take place at the Hilton Fort Collins, and discounted rooms are available to all conference attendees and exhibitors.
