Virtual KSA on Behavioral Health: Saturday, March 11: 8:30 am – 1:00 pm

This KSA is scheduled for VIRTUAL session on March 11, 2023, from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. It is worth 8 CME credits.

Topic: Behavioral Health

Facilitator: Nida Awadallah, MD – Denver

Topic Information: The new Behavioral Health Care ABFM-developed KSA activity combines content from both the current Depression and the Mental Health in the Community KSA activities. This new activity focuses on diagnosis and management of depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, substance abuse disorders, autism, ADHD, and comorbid behavioral health conditions.

Agenda:
8:15 am – Zoom Meeting will open.
8:30 am – 12:30 pm –  Complete the 60-question KSA in a distraction-free, facilitated virtual group discussion format. Individuals will submit their score to the American Board of Family Medicine; ABFM will then report your earned CME credits to AAFP.

Location:  Attend virtually via Zoom. After registering, you will receive an email with Zoom login information.

Non-member rate: $300

Please note: The registration fee does not include ABFM or recertification fees.

CME Approval: The AAFP has reviewed Behavioral Health Care Knowledge Self-Assessment (KSA) Workgroup and deemed it acceptable for up to 8.00 Knowledge Self-Assessment, Live AAFP Prescribed credits. Term of Approval is from 3/11/2023 to 3/11/2023. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
