We have made a number of modules from the 2023 CAFP Foundation Annual Summit available as Enduring CME. The details for these, with learning objectives, are below.

Session 1 Learning objectives:
1. Demonstrate understanding of new CDC guidelines on initiating opioid treatment, including recommendations on type of opioids, dosing, and duration.
2. Prescribe an opioid taper when decreasing or discontinuing chronic opioids.
3. Articulate potential risks/harms of opioid prescriptions and understand evidence-based risk mitigation strategies.

1) Review scope of need for substance use education and access to treatment within the primary care setting in Colorado.

Socioemotional Screening of Youth: From Broadband to Narrowband
Session 1 Learning objectives:
1. Participants will understand the value of annual socioemotional screening for youth from birth until young adulthood
2. Participants will be able to describe the difference between “broadband” and “narrowband” screeners.
3. Participants will be able to utilize materials provided to guide screening and assessment of socioemotional conditions in youth.

Dementia Cluster Session (1 Enduring CME), presented by Rebecca Mullen, MD, MPH, Nicole Purcell, DO, MS
Introduction to Dementia
Topic 1 Learning objectives:
1. Identify and explain the benefits of early detection and diagnosis of MCI/AD
2. Define normal aging/pre-clinical versus mild cognitive impairment versus dementia
3. Recognize common risk factors for cognitive impairment
4. Review treatable causes of cognitive dysfunction
5. Identify the diagnostic criteria for the different types of dementia (Alzheimer’s dementia, Lewy body dementia, vascular dementia, Parkinson’s disease dementia, frontotemporal dementia)
Clinical Assessment of Cognition
Topic 2 Learning objectives:
