Topic Information: The newly revised Asthma ABFM-developed KSA activity focuses on understanding and identifying the pathogenesis of asthma, diagnosing asthma, managing chronic asthma, recognizing, and managing co-morbidities of asthma, managing exercise-induced asthma, and recognizing and managing complications of asthma therapy.

Agenda:
8:15 am – Zoom Meeting will open.
8:30 am – 12:30 pm –  Complete the 60-question KSA in a distraction-free, facilitated virtual group discussion format. Individuals will submit their score to the American Board of Family Medicine; ABFM will then report your earned CME credits to AAFP.

Location:  Attend virtually via Zoom. You will receive an email the night before with Zoom login information.

AAFP/CAFP member rate: $200
Non-member rate: $300

Please note: The registration fee does not include ABFM or recertification fees.

CME Approval: The AAFP has reviewed Asthma Knowledge Self-Assessment Virtual Workgroup and deemed it acceptable for up to 8.00 Knowledge Self-Assessment, Live AAFP Prescribed credits. Term of Approval is from 11/11/2023 to 11/11/2023. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

AMA/AAFP Equivalency AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
