CAFP Political Committee Endorsements & Voting Resources
Tuesday, November 5th is Election Day across the country. As a future or current family physician in Colorado, you can be an advocate for your patients and community at the ballot box in addition to the clinic.
CAFP has surveyed and interviewed many of the state candidates on the 2024 November ballot resulting in 58 endorsed candidates through our small donor committee.
These candidates have either previously demonstrated their commitment to family medicine by being a champion for our priorities or have the potential to lead on our priorities if elected. Click below to see the endorsed candidates and as well as helpful voting resources.
Colorado’s Unionization Study Resolution Passes Congress of Delegates
The Congress of Delegates (COD) is the AAFP’s policy-making body. Delegations from across the country were in Phoenix earlier this week to consider a number of proposed resolutions. Colorado’s resolution passed, directing the AAFP to study the issue of family medicine unions and the current extent of physician unionization in the U.S. A report will be published prior to the 2026 COD.
