Family Medicine Resources
Inspire the Next Generation of Family Physicians
Strengthening and inspiring the next generation of family physicians is a priority for the AAFP and CAFP. Often introduction to the profession during high school and undergrad by a passionate family physician can make a big difference in a student’s career trajectory.
We invite interested members to consider the Family Medicine Champions program, a free, self-paced program running January – May 2025. Participants will learn how to connect with students, explain the role of a family physician, the education and training required, and paint a picture of family medicine’s “why.”
